Apelviken's cottage village has undergone an extensive transformation from its old, shower- and toilet-free cottages.
Instead of renovating, the municipality decided a few years ago to build completely new beach houses in harmony with nature and the dunes.
The modern beach houses, with their bright colors and simple architecture, give a feeling of Denmark.
