THE FINE PRINT
1. Lessor

2. General Terms
2.1 To enter into a booking agreement, you must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking. If you are using the accommodation in the company of others without a guardian, all of them must be at least 18 years old at the time of stay. Children staying with guardians are not subject to this condition.
2.2 Our accommodations are only intended for leisure or corporate stays. Permanent residence is not permitted.
2.3 The booked accommodation may only be used by the number of residents specified at the time of booking or otherwise agreed upon with the lessor.
3. Validity of the Booking
3.1 Check the booking confirmation. You are responsible for ensuring the details are correct. If there are any errors, contact ApelvikStrand immediately.
3.2 The booking becomes binding for both parties once the first payment has been registered by the lessor.
4. Payment
4.1 When booking via email, social media, or phone, a service fee of 100 SEK will be charged. ApelvikStrand does not charge a service fee for online bookings.
4.2 Non-refundable bookings are charged 100% no later than 24 hours after the booking is made. For other individual bookings, payment is divided into a deposit and a final payment. The deposit amounts to 10% of the accommodation cost and must be received by ApelvikStrand AB no later than 10 days after booking. The final payment must be received no later than 40 days before arrival.
4.3 For bookings made less than 40 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid no later than 10 days after booking.
4.4 For bookings made less than 10 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
4.5 For changes to an existing booking, the lessor has the right to charge a fee of 150 SEK.
4.6 Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation, you must update your profile and guarantee the booking with a valid credit card. If the booking is not guaranteed, ApelvikStrand AB reserves the right to cancel the booking without informing the guest.
5. Cancellation
5.1 The Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59) has an exception for accommodation agreements, meaning you cannot withdraw from an agreement for renting a beach house or beach apartment.
5.2 The possibility to cancel or reschedule depends on the terms of the selected price category at the time of booking. The guest is responsible for reading the price description applicable to the booking.
5.3 For individual bookings made under the Flexiprice option, cancellations made at least seven (7) days before arrival will incur a charge of 10% of the total booking price. Cancellations made 7-2 days before arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking price. Cancellations made 1-0 days before arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking price.
5.3.1 For individual bookings made under the Standard Price option, cancellations made at least 40 days before arrival will incur a charge of 10% (depending on the booking item) of the total booking price. Cancellations made 39-7 days before arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking price. Cancellations made 7-2 days before arrival will incur a charge of 75%. Cancellations made 1-0 days before arrival will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking price.
5.4 All cancellations must be made directly to ApelvikStrand.
5.5 Refunds for cancellations will be processed no later than 10 days after ApelvikStrand AB has received any required documentation and refund details.
6. Special Conditions for Beach Houses / Beach Apartments
6.1 The guest is required to follow ApelvikStrand AB’s house rules and take care of the accommodation. The guest is responsible for any damage to the property and its inventory. House rules can be found at apelvikstrand.se/bokningsvillkor.
6.2 Any defects occurring during your stay must be reported to ApelvikStrand immediately so they can be rectified. If you fail to report an issue, you cannot claim compensation afterward.
6.3 Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation, final cleaning, bed linen, and towels are included in the accommodation.
6.4 ApelvikStrand offers accommodations where pets are allowed and accommodations where pets are not allowed. The guest is responsible for informing ApelvikStrand AB of their intention to bring pets at the time of booking and ensuring that the booked accommodation allows pets.
6.5 ApelvikStrand AB does not guarantee that accommodations are allergy-sanitized.
