Rules for hiring and cancellation

Guests are welcome to use the beach house/apartment for overnight accommodation from checking in on the agreed arrival date until checking out on the departure date. 

INVOICES

You are personally responsible for checking that the booking is correct in terms of arrival and departure dates. State the invoice number when paying.

PAYMENT

When you make a booking you will receive an invoice/booking confirmation. You have to pay the entire invoice no later than 30-60 days from the booking date. 

What if you arrive after opening hours and the total amount has been paid? You get a code for the code lock that is on the door to your home. You will receive the code by text message on your mobile phone. This message comes from "DIN BOKNING"

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations can be made verbally or in writing. From 60 to 30 days prior to moving in, 10% of the total rental cost is charged. From 30 days prior to moving in, 100% of the total rental cost is charged.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

If you have cancellation insurance costing SEK 300, bookings can be cancelled and any payments refunded. This applies up until the day before the date of arrival by submitting a doctor's certificate.

GUEST OBLIGATIONS

You are obliged to take good care of our houses and apartments and comply with our rules of conduct and instructions. You are personally responsible for any damage caused to the buildings and their contents by negligence on the part of yourself or anyone in your group. It is not permitted for more people to stay in a house or apartment other than the number agreed on when booking.

CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS

Please report any faults that arise during your stay to us as soon as possible to give us the possibility to remedy the fault. Claims subsequent to your visit must be made in writing by email or letter to ApelvikStrand at the address below. 

BED LINEN

Sleeping bags are not permitted.

Sheets must always be used for hygienic reasons. Sheets/towels can be pre-ordered or rented on site at the reception. A laundry fee will be charged if sheets are not used.

CLEANING

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their stay: cleaning equipment is available in each house and apartment.
  • You are obliged to empty waste baskets prior to departure. Large bin bags can be found in the corridors outside the rooms.
  • Any washing up must be washed, dried and put in the kitchen cupboards.
  • If you have rented sheets from us, these must be removed from beds and put in a pile on the floor.
  • Guests mismanaging facilities will be charged for any costs incurred.
